Babysitting

Babysitting can be really fantastic sometimes and completly enjoyable! But, other times... it's a total downer. I'm babysitting for my "step-mom" right now and her kids will not seem to shut up and go to bed. The sit there in bed and whisper to eachother. Most likely plotting how they are going to run away or something like that!
This one time when I was babysitting, the little boy was insisting on using his brother's toothbrush instead of his. My sister and I kept telling him, "No you have to use yours, you'll get germs on your brothers, he won't want that." But then, ofcourse, he started to cry. What where we supposed to do then. Well we ended up just letting him use his brothers. I really hope his brother never found out.

Divorce

Divorce can affect many people, not just the two people that the seperation is between. I know this because my parents got divorced about two and a half years ago. They're both remarried now, but thoughts still strike my mind about why it happened. My parents hid it so well that I never knew it was coming. It was a complete shoke to me. I still feel if I side wtih one of my parents on a decision that I'm betraying the other, or if I stay at my mom's house I'm betraying my dad.

I know it's affected me greatly. Try to keep your marriages together people. It's hurting our nation with so many people separating.

Itunes

In the past six months I've gotten very interested or caught up in Itunes and buying music for my ipod. I discoverd Genius. After you buy a song or album it shows you what other people have also bought who bought that song. I've found so many nobody artists that are amazing. Artists such as:
  • Matt Wertz
  • Dave Barnes
  • Benton Paul
  • Asher Book
  • Landon Pigg
  • and many other most amazing musical artists.

I've had so much fun discovering them, and my sister claims that I have the best taste in music she's ever known. She downloads all of the songs that I buy, along with a few of her songs. I think it's amazing that in this day and age we have Ipods, laptops, and other such devices that make our life's amazing. Anything is ours practically at the touch of a button!

Winter Wonderlands

Weather here makes me wonder sometimes. A three days ago it was forty degrees Fahrenheit outside and just yesterday it snowed about tree inches! How does weather switch from such different extremes so quickly. I walked my dog and now I can't even walk myselft outside or my boots get soaked with wet packed snow (That is what happened to me walking home from the bus stop today).

Summer and Winter both are good extremes. Summer has:
  • Swimming
  • Boating
  • and Softball

As the opposite winter has:

  • Skiing
  • Sleding
  • Snowball fights
  • and Snowmen

All these are good, but I can't seem to decide which is my ultimate favorite. I like these cold, gray winter days. Days that let you savor a bad mood. But, I miss those perfect summer days. Summer days where the sun is shining, birds are sining, a breeze is blowing, and the lawn mower is broken. But, each day, in both seasons, has it's pirks.

Do you ever feel that when it's winter you want it to be summer and when it's summer you deathly wish for the colder winter weather?

Waking Up

When and how you wake up in the morning can tell you a lot about how your day is going to be set out. Such as if you sleep in a couple hours on the weekend then hop right into a nice long shower than your day is pretty much going to be a great day. But, if you wake up two or so hours earlier then you would've wanted and then get in the shower to find that your little sister has used up all the hot water, and then you go upstairs and your little brother has just finished off the last of the box of Crunch Berries, then, naturally, you would expect a bad day.

Today I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. I lied in bed for what seemed like hours not wanting to get up and start my day and then it has just been chaos up from then till now. The only way to change your day around it to do it yourself.

Come on now losers who are just sitting at home reading other people's blogs. Get up, walk your dog, go to the mall, do I puzzle. Something!

Number One

Well, officially now I am a blogger. My profile seems to be set up and working fine and I on my way. I'm not quite sure exactly how to use or set up my blog so all help full hints and completely appreciated!
Well let me tell you it was sort of a struggle to get this. I got majorly confused while editing my profile and the Internet shut off on me at least three times during the process. I've been home sick today and decided that I would make a blog. I got the idea from church. Church your probably thinking? Well yes. A few weeks ago a man got up and gave a talk on how we can use blogs to share the gospel. Now your probably thinking: Man this is a stupid church blog! I wonder is she's going to try to convert us?, well that's all wrong. I just figured it to be fun to do this, so here I am. And my journey into the world of blogging begins right now...
